Post Chalet Syndrome

Back to the flow of blogging. I shall NOT blog about the chalet because practically everyone in the class has blogged about that already. Just want to say that the chalet was really fun…and INSIGHTFUL?? Some people in the class made a video of our class, with photos of class outings and birthdays and whatnot for the past 11 months. Sad to say, I wasn’t really emotional when viewing the video, because I was simply too tired. But after that video ended and people like Jinzhi, Jason, Karina, Vincent and Jonathan started to make speeches, then I really started to think a lot. Someone said: “People think our class is bonded, but that’s on the surface only. I really hope everyone can talk to anyone in 07 about their problems and stuff.” Sad to say, that is very unlikely to happen to me. BUT I will try. So far, 07 is the only class that made me feel comfortable in my whole 17 years. Primary school was a traumatic experience for me because it was really very very competitive in class. And no one cares about you when you’re like languishing in the bottom of the class (read: ME). I even had a horrible teacher who enjoys making people cry. Secondary School: Too many cliques in the class. Lot’s of scary people in my class. Even girls can be super scary also ok! I didn’t really fit in with my class and I was never comfortable, but at least I have a few close friends who I can really talk to there. Sad to say, none of my close secondary school friends are in TJ, with the exception of Elisse Yulian. You rock girl! =DD But at least in 07, I managed to find friends that I can talk to. Sure, we haven’t reached the stage where we can talk about everything and anything under the sun. But I’ll try to make the friendship work. We have 10 more months to go, and I hope that in the days to come, we can forge strong friendships that can withstand the test of time. 2 years. It’s really a short time. I still remember the day when I step into the college and saw 23 other strangers from different schools. 1 year has past, and very soon, we will all be going our separate ways. 07! We must really appreciate the time we have next year!

“We were strangers, starting out on a journey. Never dreaming, what we have to go through. But here we are, I’m suddenly standing, at the beginning with you… "

Lastly, I want to say: TJ030 rocks! I know all the other group leaders have dedicated posts on their blogs for their members, but I won’t because it just feels weird to me. Hope you will like the card. I just want to say: The past 8 months have been great working with you people. Although we get angry with each other sometimes, and you all are afraid of me sometimes, I really feel closer to all of you after the entire PW project. You are really great to work with, and I can’t imagine any other people being part of TJ030. Elisse, Zhi Lin, Angeline and Jason: A great big “THANK YOU” from me. TJ030 will always have a special place in my heart. =DD

Yeah! I'm finally going to watch Stardust on Monday. Zhi Lin says she is broke after watching that crap Bee Movie. Looking forward to emo-ing in the cinema myself. :)

Sick

Feeling sick for the past few days. Ever since Thursay's dinner at Marche. Ahh! Marche was a disappointment for me...I expected really GOOD food, because everyone who been there seems to give really rave reviews. But like what Siewmin said, we don't know how to order. Like Zhi Lin and I sat so close to each other yet we ordered the same thing?!?! Must really ask Siewmin to teach us next time.

I ordered some potato rosti thing, which was basically some potato strips with sausage. Quite nice on the first few bites, but the taste soon became very sick to me. After a few more bites, i really cannot stand that thing anymore, so Evil Zhi Lin and I decided to order some fruit crepe, which was NICE! We were so proud that we managed to order something nice! =) After eating the fruit crepe, I continued eating my digusting rosti, cause CANNOT WASTE FOOD. (PS: Apparently, Ina likes that rosti thing :) After eating that, I had a weird sensation in my stomach and I felt like vomiting. But JInzhi says "Don't keep on thinking of vomiting and you won't vomit." So I controlled it until I reached home. Then I started puking non-stop for 1 hour. Was feeling so weak that I just wash my face and I went to sleep.

Friday woke up: stomach discomfort again. Went to see doctor and apparently I ate something wrong. Saturday was unproductive but fun Econs meeting, managed to see so many friendster profiles courtesy of Vincent and Jonathan (Realised Jon is paranoid lol!) Saturday afternoon, my stomach began to feel unwell again. Took panadol and slept. Sunday woke up: Stomach unwell again. As I am typing now, I still feel so sick. Something funny happened today. I saw a book on the table, with its glaring title "How to treat common ailments at home". I flipped to the first page and I saw "Stomach Discomfort". Then it listed all the symptoms that I have, and then gave a list of causes such as "Viral infection" and "Stomach infection". Yikes. I really hope I don't have some infection. =(

I don't even know if I can go to class chalet tomorrow. Hmph! Was so looking forward to it, but in my current state, it's hard for me to get excited. Sorry 07 people. I really hope I'll get well by tomorrow and worst come to worst, I'll drag myself there. =)
