Okay! I just read a commentary on TIME magazine about mixed marriages. It said that there is no big deal marrying someone of a completely different generation, and 4% of all marriages are now interracial. Not even your grandparents will get lathered up if you marry someone of another colour. However, there is one mixed marriage that will always draw stares- that is: marrying outside your looks. Quote "Marrying a few degrees up or down the hotness scale". And it said that guys who marry a woman who is a few rungs up in the looks ladder are often perceived as cool and rich. (Note: Donald and Melanie Trump). However, women who marry up is said to be deluded and desperate! Isn't this a form of discrimination?!? The writer also said that these marriages are often very challenging and stressful as many people will feel that the marriage is "mismatched".
Well, just some food for thought here.
