Still depressed, so went around the Net to cheer me up.

This picture is seriously awesome. Pull at the corner of your eyes to see what it says. (And I mean seriously pull at the corner of your eyes)

Whoever thought of this is a GENIUS.

And here's some cool chalk drawings done on the street. Don't they look real?

disfigured

I'm disfigured.
Dunno what the heall seafood I ate, now my whole face esp my nose exploded with rashes/pimples with pus. And I'm not kidding when I say it's A LOT.
Looks like I have some disease.
Doctor say will leave scars. Permanent scars. And brown patches on my nose. OH MY GOD.
Concealer can't even cover.
WA LAO, I'm damm upset.
I don't even dare to look at people when I talk. I look down on the ground when I walk. Stupid I feel so goddamm inferior. SAD SAD SAD.
Last time I used to complain about my whiteheads/blackheads on my nose, now this is like a million times worse. Don't take things for granted.
I LOOK LIKE A MONSTER.
:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
Reported for work yesterday, and even with the SUPER DIM lighting at the restaurant, my colleagues also asked 'aiyoh, what happened?!?' AHHHHH!!!!

Somemore I'm gaining weight cos didn't exercise for the past 3 weeks.
Something's wrong with my ankle and achilles tendon.
It's hurts like hell after a run.

Sorry for all this ranting, just that I'm damm upset right now.
I'm already ugly enough and now this has to happen.
And at a time when uni is going to start.
How to face people? :(

I am such a spendthrift.

The funny thing is that I don't spend much of my money on clothes. Instead, I spend most of my money on FOOD. YES, FOOD. Disastrous. Spent quite a bit on grocery shopping, buying lot's of snacks for Sandy (like Pringles + Pocky+ Hello Panda). I realise I'm turning into a mega auntie. I'm visiting NTUC/ Giant every week, stocking up on fresh produce for my family like vegetables, fruits and meat. It's fun shopping for your own groceries and food :) Is that what life next time will be like?

Work at NYP ends this Friday. I freaking can't stand the oh-so-predictable admin work. Staring at the computer everyday rots my already small brain. On another note, I'm sacked from my tuition assignments. I don't know whether to be relieved or sad (cause no more income!).

Gotten another job at Margarita's Restaurant at Dempsey Road, near Orchard Road. The pay kind of sucks, but oh well, at least I have lot's of time to myself. Seriously, I don't want to work from morning to evening for 2 more months. More on my new job. The working hours are quite horrible -6pm to 11pm, so no more evening engagements from now on. Oh well, at least I get to learn something and know more about fine dining :)
Went for 4/3 class gathering yesterday...felt that it was quite awkward since we have not met each other for a long long time. Lol....the ony people who I actually keep in contact is van, elisse and aiman. Lot's of quiet moments after all the customary uni and part-time jobs chit chat. Friends do really come and go. :(

In the midst of the class gathering, Kim and I went rollerblading. Ok, I 'rollerbladed' and Kim was there to help me cos she's already very PRO. As expected, I can't rollerblade!!! It's like trying to learn to walk all over again. After a few moments, I sort of get used to the feeling...my right leg started to blade but my left leg still walking. SIAN. I WANT TO LEARN ROLLERBLADING!

Then went for kickboxing class later in the night. The female instructor in super HOT!!! She's not skinny...in fact, she's of medium built but you can see that her whole body is made up of muscles! She's super super toned...and when we jumped about during the kickboxing exercise, you can see that her stomach/thighs doesn't flap about (Cos if you have fats, confirm will flap about when you jump haha)...and somemore her stomach is not only flat, but you can see muscles too! (not 6 pack by the way, just that you can see it's muscle not a flat and flabby stomach) She's really cool and motivating haha...kickboxing is really tiring...I cannot sustain the kicking and jumping around for 10 minutes :/ Then the instructor went '2 more 2 more...' Lol....But overall, it was a really fun experience! :)

KL HERE I COME!

I'm going to splurge like MAD. I have been controlling my spending for the past month...hehe. Need to stock up on tees, shoes and a BAG. I desperately need a bag where I can dump in all my A4 stuff...can't imagine carrying my seagate backpack in NTU.

Alicia! We must go to Pentaling street/ Chinatown/ Central Market okay!!!

Goodness! I'm so excited about the trip this Friday. I probably have to wake up at 4.30am in order to leave the house at 5am. And I haven't pack my laggage and convert my Singapore dollars into ringgits...procrastination AGAIN. And guess what... I still have tuition on Thursday, from 8-10pm... ... :( Tuition is becoming a drag to me. I do not know how to get through to my tutees sometimes. My chem tutee does not know HCl is hydrochloric acid, Ba is barium and lot's of basic concepts that I would expect a Sec 4 student to know. My maths tutee has problems doing basic integration and differentiation. Sometimes I just want to vomit blood. I'm quite worried for them. Sigh...and I don't know how am I going to continue giving tuition once I enter uni. Perhaps it was a wrong decision giving tuition in the first place, since I do not seem to get any satisfaction for the 2 hours.

On a side note, I can't seem to stop laughing during the Star Awards show on Sunday. The parrot, magic show and helicopter made the whole ceremony seem so low-class :/

And I calculated my uni fees. Apparently, it's a whooping $30 000 including hostel fees and living expenses. But I think that's considered little compared to overseas, because the Warcick student called me last Thursday to ask if I have any questions regarding the school (it's a nice gesture by Warwick to make the potential students feel welcome). Feeling very random since I do not want to go there anymore, I just asked 'oh how much is the tuition fees for 1 year?'

She answered '14 000 POUNDS'.

I was SHOCKED. 14 000 pounds = 28 000 singapore dollars for ONE freaking year. Now I know why scholarships are so competitive. :/

Finally!

Finally...NTU replied me with THE offer.

I thought I screwed up for the interview. Apparently the interviewer felt that I cannot manage my time well because of my answer to a particlar question.

'Oh I see you're from Choir. So will you join singing competitions like Singapore Idol?'

I rambled on... ...interviewer gave me that face.

'So you mean you cannot manage your time? Do you know who is Steph Sun? You know she's from NTU? Then maybe you should consult her how she manages to manage both her singing career and studies.'

That's why I thought I was screwed.

Accountancy here I come! I'm so freaking excited now, of all the uni life, CCAs and hostel life. Everything seem so real now because of that acceptance letter...and I'll say this again!

I can't wait for hostel life. :) All the best to my future roommate, because I'm really a messy untidy and disorganised person. But I will try to change, or else my room will definitely look like a 狗窝. That's what my mother said.

Went for the SPRING EDS interview (11am to 6pm) on Friday too. It sort of made me realised TJ sheltered us a lot from the realities of the world. I felt that in TJ, we have a very cool and warm family culture. People there at the EDS interview were extremely competitive, very vocal, very good with their words, very convinving. But I didn't think my team worked well, because everyone wanted to talk and no one wanted to listen. It's quite sad actually when you see everyone fighting for a chance to say something (or perhaps, say for the sake of saying something-- because all the assessors were there with clipboards in their hands.) It was a very stressful environment, partly because you HAVE to say something in order to be noticed amongst all the 30 plus people.

As for me, the interview was a goner because, well, I didn't exactly speak up. Or should I say I can't even get a word in because everyone was interrupting each other. But it was really an eye-opening experience for me. :)) I'm really amazaed by some individuals. They were very eloquent, very confident and very steady. Any coincidence that most of them are from Uni Year 1? Hopefully in a year time, I will be as steady as them. YEAH! :))

I told my father about my experience there, and he said

'Life's like this. That's why I think your friends are all too nice
already.
In life or in work, no one will actually care about
your
survival.
It's either you fight for the chance to shine, or you
will just get
lost
behind. I always tell you don't be so trusting...
...life in University will not
be the same as your life in TJ.'

Lunch at naked fish!

LiRong, Me and Caroline. And that's our dear Mary standing behind us. She's the one who's giving us THE TREAT!See, my eyes are closed. AGAIN. Half the pictures I take-my eyes are permanently closed! What will I give for big eyes like Huat. Can you spot Zhi Lin at the back?
That's Mr Ooi who bought us that chocolate cake. :)))

Ok, the cake doesn't look THAT nice here. But I can assure you, it's freaking delicious. Look at all the layers of chocolate, chocolate and chocolate...
