My mundane working life

And so I have worked for almost 2 months at Popular. Really miss the good old days at TJ :) Planning to quit on 6th Feb, though I do not know how to tell my boss. But the silver lining is that She (the boss) absolutely hates me after the-supposedly-reading-book-while-wrapping-books incident, which is a horribly long story. But there's one good thing that's come out of these two months: I realised how important it is to get a job that gives you the satisfaction, the drive and motivation to keep you going everyday. No offence taken, but I cannot understand how some people can work there for 8 or 9 years with a pay of $1000 odd per month. Told my mum about that and she just replied with a simple "That's life." And she then emphasized the importance of studying hard so that you can choose the job, and not the job chooses you. That's my parents for you, but I can totally identify with their words. Can't imagine that I have to work for 30 plus years before I can retire.

Ok, shall stop bitching about my job. But what's ironic is that when I'm studying, I want to work. And when I'm actually working now, I can't wait to get back to school.

On a side note, I want to take up piano again, especially after all youtube surfing of songs. There are so many piano versions of songs that I love, and I really hope to play them, just like the past. :) I don't want my life to be just about working working and working. No point earning so much money just to spend it on clothes, food and entertainment. Which is exactly my very mundane life now. :/ Also have a sudden impulse to take up baking and rollar blading. I know. Not the most exciting of activities.
