JCTs finally over... don't know what to feel.
Basically, bad time management and the lack of mugging just sums up the whole experience. I didn't even complete any of the paper. For Econs and GP, I had so much more to write and evaluate, but I had simply no time. And Physics was a killer this time!?! And it was supposed to be my best paper cause after Physics paper, I'm supposed to feel better. Oh well. I think I will probably get 2 marks out of 24 for my MCQ. I didn't do lots of questions. when mrs poon said "H1 students please pass up your MCQ..." I only did 10 questions, which means I have another 15 minutes to do 14 questions. SIAN.
I really hate myself for all the procrastinating. Everyone thinks I mugged like hell for jcts...like real. Four weeks of "holidays" passed by fast. First week used up for H3 exams, second week used up for TOTAL SLACKING (cos I thought there are two more weeks left to mug). Third week tried to study but couldn't get my momentum going. Studied for 30 minutes then went to disturb Sandy and watch TV or read storybooks. Four week started to panic but realised it's too late. This sums up my holidays. It's pathetic.
Anyway, after the JCTs, the girls went out to watch a movie and ate dinner. "The Happening" was a stupid movie. People dying one after another. When the show was into it's one-and-a-half hour, and the two leads were out in the trees and hugging, Siew Min said "Maybe the trees find them very loving, and will be so touched that they do not kill them. And then everything will end." I think she was just making a joke but siew min was RIGHT.
WOAH LAO. Wasted my $6; luckily watched it at Princess, so not so bad. Haha...and we had the WHOLE cinema to ourselves (apparently there were a few basketballers at the back but we treat them as if they are invisible). Sorry to the girls if I made a lot of noises. I think I was screaming and cringing and whining at those morbid scenes.
Dinner at Eatzi was nice. We talked for so long.... Reached home at 9.30pm and watched att my shows! America's Next Top Model and all those repeated Chinese dramas. I love watching BIMBO Shows and reality shows! :)))) Zhi Lin and Hui Ru will tell you that I watch mostly REPEATED Chinese Dramas.lol.
Sorry for all the ranting. Blogs are just nothing but idle chatter and self indulgence. :)

I miss the good old days!
Really fed up. Holidays ending soon but I can't seem to find the momentum to study. Every morning, I will wake up and tell myself "I will start studying today...". Sure, start mugging for a while and then I will get restless and start to disturb Sandy and watch TV. Really have a short attention span...and I CAN'T HELP IT!!! ):
Anyway, it was a great day last Sunday cause I had a 4e3 chalet cum bbq! I really miss those good old days...
(: I miss having my own classroom.
(: I miss having my own table.
(: I miss running to my friends' table to talk (especially Vanessa's table) after a lesson ended and before the next teacher came.
(: I miss chionging down for recess with Elisse and choinging back up the staircase after gobbling down our food. (and see who can run the fastest up the staircase)
(: I miss going home with Vanessa on Bus 10.
(: I miss all the fun competitions that TKGS have, like Zany Parade!!!
(: I miss my lab partners Aiman, Chua Jiayi and Yezi! Remember the stupid bacteriophage model we did for Bio and how we would splash water on each other chem practical paper during washing up?
(: And there's so much more... ...
In a way, JC life here at TJ is much better, but life in secondary school is so much more innocent and not that complicated... ... a few more months to go and we will be out of TJ... ... will 07 meet up? :)
Vanessa: I promise we will meet up again :) Really miss talking to you! And true friends are hard to find.. ...

I'm Sandy's mum??? :((
Brought Sandy to the polyclinic today for an eye checkup. Visited about 3 doctors and a few nurses because I was being referred to there and fro...so Sandy and I kept running all over the place. What was worse was that everyone thought I was Sandy's mum...and all of them keep giving me this weird expression...(that "you are so young but had sex and got pregnant" type of expression). Finally, one doctor couldn't stand it anymore and ask me "are you her sister or her mother?".
I gave him that duh-i'm-the-sis-face and he still had the cheek to exclaim "WOW. Thank goodness! I thought you are her mother at first, then I keep thinking why you so young already have children...and had pre-marital sex as well...young people nowadays...."
I was so goddamm embarassed. -.- Especially since he mentioned it in front of Sandy who found it so amusing that people thought I'm her mum.
btw, Sandy failed her eye test. And now she has to go to KKH to see eye specialist. It will be super horrible if she wears specs...because that means we will be banned from the TV too. :(

back from camp!
Just came back from TC camp... ... it was FUN! Especially on the first day when we went to East Coast Park. Got drenched by dunno-how-many-buckets-of-water while I was preparing to take photos with Sm, Angeline and Sharon. Got my revenge in the end. :) All my clothes were drenched and it was really disguting and uncomfortable! But I had a great great dinner at East Coast! Ate $ 4 worth of Hokkien Mee and $2 worth of satay but still felt hungry... ... I'm such a gluton oh my god... ...
Had night walk at 2.30am in tjc. Felt really scared intially beacause it was near 3am... and i had no partner initially because Gwenda thought i wasn't coming on the first day(misunderstanding). But luckily I ended up with Roy, Siew Min and Angeline...After the night walk, we sat down at the sports complex there and I sort of look at the night sky. It was really beautiful and romantic with lot's of stars. Suddenly had an impulse to just lie down there in the open and look at the sky... ... The last time I did that was during OBS 3 years ago... ...
All the best to the new commitee...do and good best for the upcoming year and do us proud!
I'm so dreamy...I think so much about the future although I know that's not going to happen...

I'm really hopeless.
Went back TKGS to promote TJ today. Don't really know what to say since I don't really like it here and I can't wait to get out of here....so basically i just crap all the way.
yah...talk about oppotunities given in TJ. Electives, internship opportunities, Mazarin. I rambled on quite a bit. YUCKS. Quite sad actually. My Sec 4 sis was in the audience with her friends. She's anti-TJ.
Went home. My sis started to irritate me. Say why did I talk so loud; why I never speak coherently; why i speak singlish; and she say people were sleeping during my "speech" -.- demoralised. And now, she's talking to my mum about my horrible incoherent speech made in TKGS. And then she concluded that it was because I speak 99.9% Chinese in TJ, and I have lost my ability to speak English coherently. -.0 Sigh....it really sad when you make a fool of yourself in front of your sister and her friends. ARGH.
Something someone said today affected me quite a lot.

this is way overdue
ok...ARK card launch is over, my H3 test is a goner... and now I can finally catch up on my rest. Since this year started, I haven't had a proper rest. I feel really sad that I don't have time for myself... ... and this is spells TROUBLE. I seriously don't recall being so hectic while preparing for O levels... ... I feel so seriously unproductive these days, and it really affects my mood when I feel like I have achieved nothing. I have a backlog of stuff, and I hate it when I don't have the energy to do anything. I guess all the late nights from doing ARK has really taken a toll on me. (whoever heard of sleeping at 5am and waking up at 7am?!?!. My parents will kill me if they know about my sleeping pattern!)
I realised a lot of things from the Mazarin Project aka the ARK Cards. Sure, it may not be a success but nothing beats the experience and insights you gain from organising an $10 000 launch event. I feel that we were quite naive on certain matters, and we didn't handle some issues appropriately (like that JAPrintz matter). I just read the email from JAPrintz and I can feel that they are still upset with the team... ... But we made a mistake and we learn. We grow up. Many thanks to the ARK team for this experience of a lifetime. I have learnt many things from all of you. All of you are truly unique individuals and I can say ours is a dynamic team. We fight for our opinions to be heard, our ideas to be accepted. Vincent did not have an easy job, because everyone in our team is sometimes divided on our opinions regarding certain issues. And we are not afraid to voice out, and you can see our bu shuang-ness on our faces. Sorry Vincent. And many thanks to the rest, especially Elisse and Jin Zhi for that motivating factor. I always can count on Elisse when I feel so sian and I just need someone to grumble to. Thanks for the special friendship. Anyway, after the ARK Card launch, 07 people stayed back at the Open Plaza to talk again. The guys played some weird game where they had to drink bottles of NEWater if they lost. The girls+ a very sleepy Han Liang set down to talk again. Made one shocking discovery that day, and that was BZP and his Angeline. Lol.
Anyway, my H3 test is a mess. Why do I spend a week studying H3, and to end up having it this way? I spent a day studying both Econs and my H2 chem and I feel more prepared than my H3 (not to say I'll do well, just more prepared). Jin Zhi once told me the reason we're so afraid for our H3 was because it is an A level subject, and we are afriad of failures in our life. You didn't do well for your H3 but does that mean your life is ruined? That you can never enter University? I sort of think it makes sense, that all these is just a passing phase in our long long life. Like what Jonathan said, life will never be the same without ups and downs, shocks and expected, norms and uniques. But Singapore's system is such that it doesn't condone failures, and this is a sad fact of life I guess. I think I can never rest properly until I retire, and I'm already looking foward to that when I haven't even started working yet. How ironic is that.
Just finished reading a chick flick aka bimbo book. Sort of cheered me up a little. :)

Major shockS and a rather long post
Major shocks of the day.(NOTE THE PLURAL)
Woke up in the morning to hear theat Portsmouth thrashed ManUtd in FA Cup. I was really really happy when I went off to GP tuition. Then after GP tuition, I heard from radio that Barnsley defeated Chelsea. And that was a MAJOR SHOCK. Kind of spolit my mood.
Then came home to find out that my maid went crazy. She shouted at my parents... ... like hello? Do you shout at your employer? My mom suspected she has some mental illness because she heard a man's voice in the toliet (obviously it is her voice lah cause why would there be a man in my house's toliet). Then the BIG question is...why is she talking to herself in a man's voice? I have no problem with talking to onself because I also talk to myself sometimes... but to do so in an entirely different voice? Scary. Like split personality like that. This is major shock no. 2.
Many things happened in my life. Had H3 Chem test yesterday, and I was quite depressed. Sigh. I really studied for this major test (it is my A level grade!). Considering I didn't really study for a lot of tests this year (like all the Econs and Chem tests).I really tried my best for that H3. But sometimes, my best is not enough. What made it worst was that some people actually laughed after the test and said they can't believe that the H3 test was so easy. Maybe I'm just retarding now... ... AHH!
My sis just came back from Malaysia on Friday. She represented Singapore for this Science competition, and she got to wear the Singapore blazer! WOW! But that's not the most shocking one. I think she got herself a bf in Malaysia! lol! Oh a side note...my mum thinks I'm a les cause I'm always talking about Angeline and Siew Min -.- Mum... if you're reading this, don't worry! Your daughter is perfectly fine and normal. And I'm still so young please! I guess my parents are quite open-minded (they actually can accept a daughter who is les?)... but sometimes their open-mindedness will lead to some very awkward moments. Like that time my parents ask me why V day I never go out; why I had so many sweets during V day (told them it's from 0707 people but they give me that doubtful face-they think TOO much liao lah!); ask if I like anyone from school.... (I told them NO and gave that very shock face. That's when they become scared that I'm les lol!) haha...they also ask a lot of weird questions but shan't mention them here cause even me myself will go -.-. Only the 07 girls know. :)
Something Mrs Poon said 2 weeks ago was very funny. "When you graduate from college, take some time to think about who you like (in TJC), and perhaps you can ask them out." Wahahah! Very funny that one! Then afterwards we were teasing that Teng will ask Jia Wei out (on the pretext of giving something PW related to Jia Wei). Then I just joked randomly that "Zhi Peng will 打给Siew Min." Raghu heard it as "Zhi Peng targeting Siew Min" Haha! The the class ended up cracking jokes over that weird comment by Mrs Poon. But TJ sexuality education is really weird. I think TKGS one is more normal.
Random joke by Jason: How to test if a person is from TKGS? Just tap her shoulder and see if she is easily shocked.
I hate you ok! Still tell Raghu how to scare me! -.- And I thought Elisse would be my scapegoat... ... :(
OK sorry for the long post cause I realised I didn't blog for so long. But finally Tourism Fiesta is over! 1 down, many more to go (including Mazarin and the BIG BIG A levels, speaking of which, TJ didn't do well this year).
I will survive!
