:(

I was so bloody pissed off at someone yesterday. Long story, and I'm lazy to explain. My bloody really boiled to the max, and I ALMOST wanted to said the f word to him (you can see how mad I was as I am not even a person who swears). I realised that when you absolutely dislike someone, you find everything about him irritating, and everything about him really starts to get on my nerves. Amazingly, everyone found him to be damm shuai looking. Even the GUYS who saw his fb were like "wow, good looking sia". His cocky attitude and the way he thinks that he's always right spoils everything. Luckily I saw the funny offline message that my friend left me on msn, and that's why I didn't explode right there and then.

Luckily, my colleagues at work keep me sane. Speaking of my colleagues, I'm really thankful for such a funny and bunch of people who I work with everyday. :D

PIssed

Friday was a horrible day. Forgot to bring uoc shirt for phototaking, and had to trouble Clement to pop by to my house to collect the shirt. Then after one whole day at work meeting sponsors, I had to rush to NTU for uoc meeting without having dinner. Then, the meeting ended at 11pm =.= After kx told me all the deadline that I have to rush this coming two weeks, I was like wth. Feel damn apologetic to darren and kb cos they waited so long for me to have dinner as their gl meeting ended earlier, and in the end, they still had to leave without dinner because by 10pm, kx still had a lot of stuff to discuss for pnp. So, I went home hungry and tired, and what I reached home, I was even more pissed because my dad immediately started to rant at me for coming home so late. I cannot control what time the meeting ends right? I know my dad is concerned about me because apparently, there are some stabbing incidents around my area. Clement told me about the series of robberies around my area, and he said that his friend kena stabbed. Maybe that's why they installed CCTV at my lift. =.= When did Tampines become so unsafe?!?! I've always thought Tampines is this friendly and nice neighbourhood hahah...

The Wii came on Saturday morning, and as I am typing now, Sandy is playing bowling on Wii Sports. I got the Wii because I replied to this email on my NTU webmail. Some people in WKW Sch of Comms wanted to conduct a study on the effect of games on parent-child relationship, and coincidentally, my family fits the bill because my family has a "grandparent living at home" and "a child below the age of 16". So, the Wii will be stuck in my house for 3 weeks. So after the Wii guy came in the morning to set up the Wii and explained the study to me (I have to keep a diary log), then I went to Starbucks for the rest of the day to do the designs for UOC. Yes, entire day from 2 to 10pm. Amazing how starbucks ppl never kick me out.

I had to crap out forewords for Alan and Kx, and by the time I got to Kx's foreword, I had nothing to say liao. lol. I would seem like a stalker to those people in Starbucks, because I had to put kx, darwis, alan and sh's photos in the booklet. And what better way to pick photos than our favourite Facebook. Therefore, I kept clicking pics in Fb, and when I saw one that I like, I saved it, and edited them in Photoshop. And of course when using Photoshop, I had to ZOOM in to edit the picture. It's not surprising why I heard one little girl commenting "Eh, why the person so weird keep looking and zooming people's pictures." But booklet is finally done, although it's not very nice, but I'm just glad to complete one thing. Also redid the banner because the resolution was too bad to be printed.

And speaking of UOC really makes my blood boil...I'm sorry for ranting on and on to you about uoc stuff on msn. Not many people know about the matter which I told you about, and I cannot afford to say because we have so many common friends which will just lead to potential awkwardness when the others know about it. Thanks for standing up for me and seeing her face change when you talked about that issue (I think that was definitely epic), as well as offering to help me. :D

Ok, I just told mum about the genting/kl trip with m group. And kena scolded, because she feels that it is a waste of money because I have been to genting and kl a million times already, and she says that I'm like flying all over the place because I'm going Krabi too. But, with different company it's different leh. =.=

Rise and rise again until lambs become lions

I am awake at this unholy hour because I had just come home after watching Robin Hood. The movie bored me to death because it was so long! I fell asleep halfway throughout the movie, and when I woke up, I told Clement "Eh I don't know what is happening leh." Nevertheless, the fight scenes at the end were great, lot's of arrows shooting around and lot's of people getting killed with arrows stuck in their head, throat or body. The title above is one of my favourite lines from the movie, which basically means NEVER TO GIVE UP :D Isn't it ironic that I've watched Robin Hood, but not Iron Man or Ip Man?

And now, I'm uploading the photos to the UOC page. Feel quite shi bai as pnp, especially when Mun Fong asked me yesterday why there's nothing on the website (not even the date of the camp) when the camp is so near. And I still haven't send out the email about the t shirts to the GLs. OMG.Another sleepless night tonight.

Something Zi Shuo said made me feel that I'm being exploited by Lines. And Clement basically just told me to quit my job.

Work life so far

Today is my second day of work at Lines Advertising, and I'm really tired. I didn't expect they would pass so much work for an intern (namely, ME) to do, and to actually entrust me with so much responsibilities. Currently, Lines Advertising is running a DJ Competition for Singapore Discovery Center, consisting of many roadshows and finally cumulating in a final showdown competition somewhere in June. They actually asked me to go and be in charge of all the sponsorships and publicity aspects of the event. Hence for the past few days, I was busy doing contacting sponsors. Definitely more xiong than UOC because it's biz mag and pnp rolled into one! Work starts at 9am and ends at 6.30pm, but I'm aways the first one to leave because everybody is still doing their work. That said, my colleagues and boss are really nice people. Perhaps because the company is small, that's why everyone is so close knitted.:D It's great to feel empowered, because I sense that they really trust me with my work by giving me actial responsibilities (and not menial jobs like photocopying stuff or data entry stuff). But, it doesn't feel like an internship. It feels like an actual JOB. Actually, I'm quite scared that I'll burn out or screw up (whichever comes first), because I feel quite overwhelmed by everything. I'm serious, although it's only the second day, I already feel rather overwhelmed. Wait till you see the long list of stuff I have to handle and you'll understand why). There's this short meeting at the end of the day where you have to update others what you have done so far on your part.

Luckily, I had a breather tonight by having dinner with my friend. We went to this Thai place near City Hall mrt, and the food was definitely great (not to mention CHEAP. Somemore, there's no GST and service charge, so it's really worth it! Another great company tomorrow night as there's dinner with M group! And, my Wii will be coming on Thusday (I'm not so rich to buy a Wii lah, shall update about this Wii thing another time). Finally, UOC meeting on Friday, and I'm also volunteering for Singapore Art Fest, so there's training this Sat too. Busy busy week ahead!

No longer a freshie

I'm free! Year 1 of uni is OVER! :D

Got back my facebook account from SM today. I realised that habits can really die, somehow, I don't feel the "excitement" logging into Facebook liao! Perhaps I've kicked that addiction?

Going for internship interview tomorrow. Pay is shitty and lousy, but job scope sounds okay. But my parents are quite against it because they said that "a dishwasher at some food court can easily earn more than that".

Tomorrow will be the start of my HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CAMPAIGN! First up, I'm going swimming at Safra! Wl was nice enough to lend me his safra card so it means I get to enjoy hot showers when I bathe after swimming! :D

On a side note, GOH SIEW MIN- I'm going to miss you so much when you go off to NUS next Sem! (Not to sound les of course) :( I realised I really xiang yi wei ming with you in nbs, and we sort of got much closer after spending one year together? And did you realised we have never taken a photo together throughout our entire year 1 in nbs!?!

Ikea is the new place to mug

Seems like I'm blogging more and more during this exam period. BLEAH. Am online now trying to read up stuff for marketing, but seriously, I don't know what to read up on! It's like a hit and miss subject for me. Really hope I'll leave the exam hall :D :D :D on Wednesday, instead of that shitty feeling I had for OB. Please give me stuff to crap on! Damm scared that everyone will be scribing like mad and I'll be staring at the paper and flipping my textbook. =.=

I went to mug at IKEA today, and I feel that it's quite a nice place to study! Personally, I cannot study in too quiet environments (like the library) because I'll be even more distracted. (Weird huh). Ikea is a fab place because it's big and sunny and airy (I sat next to the windows so the sun was shinning brightly on my paper- LOVE IT!). Moreover, there was food. Plenty of food in fact. I reached Ikea at 9.30am, and grabbed this breakfast set consisting of a croissant, german sausages, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs! $3 ONLY! Definitely better value for money as compared to MacDonald's breakfast. Then at noon, I was hungry again, so went to buy my favourite Ikea Meatballs :D Spent quite a lot, but it was worth it!

I think Ikea is the new place for people to mug...because I saw several groups of people studying there too. No one ever chases you away. And when I was bored, I went to shop around in Ikea and took a look at all those furniture hahah (typical aunty behavior right).

Even my parents think my mugging places are really weird, because I went to the FOOD COURT to mug last Saturday with Jasmine for Stats paper. There's this halal food court in Century Square which is rather nice to study too! And the desserts there are really nice! Speaking of Jasmine, I really think it's quite cool how the both of us managed to meet each other and became friends. I met her through a scholarship tea session last year because I wanted to apply for the Firefly scholarship. Then we realised that both of us were going to nbs, and even stayed in Tampines. And that's how we managed to keep in contact all these months, gossiping about eye candies in nbs, chatting on msn and even mugging together. Fate I guess?

Ok, off to mug for mrkting again! Really happy that Chelsea won the match against Liverpool on Sunday. POSITIVE SIGN! Hopefully they will win the league again! :D
